About Me: My name is Debby and this is my mid-life MLIS! I live in northern New Jersey and work as a YA librarian at a small, suburban library. I graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1984 with a BFA in Photographic Illustration. I worked in various aspects of the photo industry for over 30 years. About nine years ago, I started working as a circulation assistant at my local library. I instantly fell in love and finally discovered what I wanted to be when I grew up! I started working on my MLIS part-time at San Jose State University online, and I am almost finished with the program. I have been married for 32 years, have a 30 year old daughter, and two rescue mutts, Piper and Jasper. I love to read, travel, spend time with my family, and talk about books with anyone who will listen! Oh, and I’ve been told that I’m obsessed with my dogs!
