Welcome!

Welcome to my Early Childhood Literacy Blog! This blog was created as an assignment for Info-269-10, Early Childhood Literacy, a course at San Jose State University. I have created a sample 12 month Early Literacy Program for the Upper Saddle River Public Library, where I am currently working. This is a small suburban library that serves a community of approximately 8,000 residents. This blog incorporates concepts that I have learned in this course. It is not an actual program plan for the USR Library, however, the programs could be incorporated into any youth service department at a public library.
