Thursdays 3:00-3:45 PM. Ages 3-5
Thursdays 4:00-4:45 PM Ages 6-8
Children can explore different kinds of blocks and building materials, such as Legos, wood blocks, large card board blocks, Lincoln Logs, Toobers and Zots, and others. Each week will have a different theme. The leader will read a story and the children will be given a building challenge based on the theme of the book. Free time for building will follow the challenge. Imagination and creativity will be encouraged.

Young children can learn new concepts and acquire new skills through building with blocks, including (Koralek, 2015):
