Hooray for Pre-K Story and Activity Time

For 4- and 5-year-olds who will be entering Kindergarten the following school year. Tuesdays 3:30-4:30 PM

Drop-in for stories, games, music, dance, crafts, and snacks. Kindergarten readiness skills will be featured, including drawing, cutting with scissors, following directions, listening, raising hands, taking turns, and more. The felt board and puppets will be used to enhance the story. A new theme will be featured each week, and all activities will incorporate the theme. A parent or caregiver must remain in the library but does not need to participate in the program. Pre-K Storytime will follow the format outlined in the Storytime Overview.

Staffing: The Children’s Librarian will run this program. The Children’s Department Assistant will help set up, clean up, and assist during the program, as needed.
